Microchip cat feeders

Just wondered what people's experience of these was like? I've got one skinny slow eater, one fat-cat, & poor skinny-cat tends to come back later & find everything gone. Was looking at this one, can't see any others out there?

I had them when Fattycat has to be on soft diet. I couldn't get the hang of how you were supposed to teach them to use it, and if I couldn't get it the cats had no chance. Fortunately she was allowed biscuits again so I sold them on eBay!

We have that feeder. It's worked brilliantly. Read the instructions before introducing your cats to them though and take the intro very very slowly. We did it over about two weeks.

Thanks both. I think I'm going to give it a go - I'm out all day quite a bit at the moment, so I'd like to be able to leave skinny-cat biscuits to pick at (normally split their meals into three to give her a better chance to actually eat some!).

I have 4 cats and they each have one of these feeders - but if I had two cats, I'd only buy one feeder.

Took my very dim and stubborn cat about 6 months to use it properly. The next cat took 24 hours!

Hmm - took months to get skinnycat used to the catflap - I'm not holding my breath for quick results Grin
