Hi everyone! I went to the vet the other day to get some worming tablets for my two. I was feeling really apprehensive about giving them the tablets, as I have memories of my childhood cats being really difficult about swallowing them.
I mentioned this to the vet and he suggested something called Easy Pill. It's brown-coloured and sort of like Plasticine or putty in texture. You wrap a bit of it round the pill and give it to them as a "treat".
I have to admit I was a bit sceptical, but after following the vet's instructions, both cats gave them a sniff and ate their pills. My greedy ginger boy even scoffed his and then tried to eat his sister's!
Anyway, I just wanted to share in case anyone else finds it tricky to give their cats medication. Next challenge will be trying to apply the flea drops to my girl, who is too timid to be touched at the moment!
