Dolly is one in a couple of weeks and then Daph is two. I’ve managed to balance this on my balcony I’m not sure if giving them such easy access to the window is a good thing or not!! It cost me a bomb su I hope it’s rainproof!’

Just an excuse to show off my beautiful urban girls really.

They are beautiful! Look at Dolly's FUR!!!!

EachandEveryone · 18/02/2018 13:28

Tell me about it she’s still young will it grow more? They are my first experience with cats I don’t even know how it happened. She’s a sod very adventurous I have to shut my blinds so I can’t see her jumping from garage to garage. She brings so much treasure back home in her fur I have to groom her once a day!

I don't know re whether it will grow more but I do recall as a young child (so we are talking 40 years ago) sneaking in to try on my mother's fur coat that looked amazingly like Dolly's fur! I know that is awful, but I honestly hadn't thought of it until that photo!

Our long haired girl's hair got longer and longer until she was about 3/4

Happy, healthy looking puddies. They are both plush in their own way. I hope you don't expect them to be grateful.

Their apparatus is a very good idea. And they certainly seem to have taken to it And why wouldn't you give ease of access to the window for Les deux mademoiselles?

Wow Dolly's fur is amazing! I remember her as a kitten in a pen with her sisters in the adoption centre then you posted about adopting her a couple of days later.
Happy birthday to both your beautiful girls.

EachandEveryone · 18/02/2018 23:01

I wonder how her sisters are? Shes abit too daring for my liking and very vocal! Doesnt like to be picked up and never comes to me. Shes totally independant infact the complete opposite of Daphne. And as soon as im asleep she gets into bed with me. She loves her sister very much. And she thinks im alright,

I remember they were a very cute trio-there was a tabby who was very bold and kept trying to escape so must be in the genes!

thecatneuterer · 19/02/2018 14:36

Lucky cats. It doesn't look particularly rain proof though.

EachandEveryone · 19/02/2018 16:16

The wood? I rang him up to check and he said its made with proper treated decking material guaranteed for 15 years. Its never stopped raining since i got it! I might get a cave type one for our other friends ill have to save up first!

You can see it is dry where Dolly is in the second picture. And the planks at the sides are overlapping to allow water to drip off.

thecatneuterer · 21/02/2018 12:07

Ah OK I see. It obviously is then. It's fab.

EachandEveryone · 21/02/2018 12:56

I think I’m ordering this for our mutual friends they are sleeping in the old cat carrier covered with army camouflage but I really need to get my backway sorted for the Summer www.cat-climbing-towers.com/harrys-hang-out.php it should be ok?

I'm not sure about that. The top seems positively designed to collect rain. If you want a shelter there are loads better on the market.
