Quick collar question...

Which is the better option? A black cat going outside at night with no reflective collar or going out at night with a non-quick-release reflective collar?

The little darling will NOT keep his collar on no matter what we try! So it's either no collar and less visibility or an elasticated one with visibility but risk of strangling.

Can you keep him in at night?

HardAsSnails · 12/02/2018 11:09

No collar and keep him in at night.

TBH as a driver I suspect by the time I'd see the reflection of the collar and worked out it was a cat it would be too late to do anything anyway.

Keep him in at night. They're at most risk during hours of darkness.

No collar and keep him in at night.

No collar and in at night.

Fair enough, he does like going out at night and his sister won't even go out during the day. Plus it's winter and there's not much daylight about. Still, his safety comes first, thanks all!
