Oh dear! Caught bang to rights?

Awoke to a text from my neighbor "Your car is a vandal!", this was rapidly corrected to "Your CAT is a vandal", with attached cctv footage of a remarkably similar cat, knocking over their cctv camera. Sorry, can't post that.

(Keeps quiet about the unseemly affair of the attack on their paddling pool and the resulting deflation, however there was no cctv for that and no independent witnesses.)

But just look at him, the picture of innocence!

Can I claim mistaken identity? Or should I advise him to throw himself on the courts' mercy?

Oh dear! Caught bang to rights?

I think your car the mastermind behind the crime. Your cat is too beautiful to think up such devilish acts.

BulletFox · 31/01/2018 21:30

It was obviously the car, I mean duh.

Car just hid and left cat to take the flak

It was dark and he's black and white. Mistakes can easily happen ... Send them a picture of him looking angelic saying "what this cat?"

I was hoping to blame other neighbor's "Evil Jasper ", sadly his eyepatch gave him away. I have provided chocolates as a restitution, there will be no Dreamies for a week.

I hope he's learned his lesson!

Get a marker and give him two eyepatches, draw glasses around the eyepatches and tell them it must have been an imposter.

BulletFox · 01/02/2018 00:41

Hmmm. Can you look into getting him a sparkly opera style mask to hide his identifying attributes for ventures outside?

I fear there might be other infringements in the future and there are only so many times the judge might let him away with previous good behaviour...they do have their limits

YetAnotherSpartacus · 01/02/2018 11:14

Oh dear. I'm afraid that that is BUSTED yes. I assume the chocolates came from his Dreamie money ... was the pool being used as an ice rink or apres Jacuzzi plunge pool?

Balaclava for future escapades? Grin
