I can't believe how many cats are shot by air rifles, 5000 in the last two years but 2 per month in the West Country. Surely it's time air rifles were licensed in England and Wales.

If something like that happened to Harry I don't think they'd be able to interview me as I'd be swearing to much and threatening revenge on the sick bastards.

It is impossible to work out how anyone could justify harming a helpless animal. I mean, just what is going through their head as they are doing it? Those figures are disturbing, and yes I agree, you would have to hold me back from anyone who did that to my twoAngry

There have been a few shootings of cats on the two roads surrounding mine over the years. As a small town with little crime I thought the police may of been able to spend more time looking into this than they have

I saw our neighbour, who I'm pretty sure has mh issues, walking around the close with an air rifle and doing target practice. Totally illegal.

Rang police, not interested.
