My 9 year old cat had a dental operation in september last year and then went back to the vets the start of october and december just for a check up. He said her teeth are fine. I think im over worrying as where shes getting older i know she will get more problems. I looked at her gums n there slightly red but mostly a nice pink shade if that makes sense. Shes in very good health and eats very well. No smelly breath etc just a bit of redness but not looking inflammed. Shall i take her back to the vets sooner than her six monthly check as she was examed only 6 weeks ago. Surely her vet would of seen any problems. Sorry may be over reacting but how often do you take them back for dental check ups ?

I think if her breath isn't smelly and the vet only saw her six weeks ago it will be fine to wait a few more months.
