Hi

I have 3 cats. 1 seems to be getting re occuring cystitis. The youngest one seems to enjoy tormenting the life out the middle one .

Can anyone reccomend a supplement or medication which may help calm them down?

Ive tried feliway plug ins with mixed results.

Zykelene on food and a pet remedy diffuser. I found it more effective than feliway.

There is a specialist food you can give them, which contains a pheromone excreted by mother cats when they leave the kittens to go hunting. It's expensive, but it really works. It stopped my new cat fighting with my old cat all the time. I mixed it 50/50 with normal food to reduce costs. It's Royal Canin Feline Calm.

I use the Royal Canin Calm food too, it helped stopped my neurotic cat over grooming and pulling his fur out. He was stressed out by my neighbour's cat.

Are they wet or dry foods ? I need to stick to specialist utinary food as my tom cat has reoccurring cystisis :(

Worth considering Hills c/d urinary stress prevents recurrence of struvite and cysteine crystals and contains L-tryptophan the active ingredient in Zylkene that is anti-anxiety.
