I don't know what rules might have allowed them to hold him for a bit longer but that seems a bit ...well, I wouldn't put it past such a person to do it while under investigation

SNARL say this isn't the person. It is an unrelated series of killings I'm afraid.

This man seems to have been arrested in connection with some arson attacks and a finite number of particular cat killings in Northampton.

I think the SNARL Facebook page is the most trustworthy for updates on this case.

I saw the other thread on this and immediately looked at the SNARL page, it is a very badly put together article with a fair amount of wrong information cobbled together by someone who hasn't a clue, especially the photo of the deceased cat, poor thing. Stupid journalists.

No, this person is a copycat. The real killer wouldn't be so daft as to be caught like that. He's been too careful so far (that's if it is one person and not a group).

So far, they've been careful not to be seen on cctv and certainly wouldn't allow their car, face, distinctive clothing to be seen.
