Ribbon. Or da bird toy

neddle · 03/01/2018 21:15

Our two kittens love racing from one side of the bedroom to the other. Over the bed. At night. With older cat swiping at them as they pass him.

Sparklingbrook · 03/01/2018 21:15

She jumps out of the bathroom window onto porch roof. Pretends to not be able to get down, miaows v loudly and looks distressed for benefit of the neighbours.
I get a plastic patio chair, raise it up above my head towards her holding the bottom of the legs, she jumps onto the seat part and I lower it down.

She loves it. Hmm

NC4now · 03/01/2018 21:16

Hiding under the bed and swiping our feet as we walk past.

Elusiveone · 03/01/2018 21:19

Sounds like we all got some very playful catsSmile

At the moment? Jumping off the dining table into the Christmas tree and setting off the house alarm 😡

BewareOfDragons · 03/01/2018 21:21

Judging me.

Primarily for not feeding him fish on demand. Oh the staring and shifting slightly to make sure I know how tired he is of waiting as he sits primly close by, judging me.

Papergirl1968 · 03/01/2018 21:38

We had to do that for a previous cat who pretended not to be able to get down from the shed roof, Sparkling.
Of course, he could get down in about two seconds but preferred to be regally lowered to the ground in a plastic washing up bowl Hmm

Papergirl1968 · 03/01/2018 21:39

Current cat’s favourite game is “helping” to make the bed by hiding under the fitted sheet and play fighting with my hand.

NC4now · 03/01/2018 21:40

Ozzy likes a ride in the laundry basket, like an emperor.

Sparklingbrook · 03/01/2018 21:40

That's exactly it Papergirl, she could easily get down if she wanted but she likes the drama. I wasn't fast enough the one time and she had run back upstairs and jumped out of the bathroom window again by the time I had put the chair away. Angry

1Vandal · 03/01/2018 21:41

My kitties love stealing my.hair bands and cotton buds and running about madly with them in their mouths

Hassled · 03/01/2018 21:44

Leaping in and out of the litter tray, just for the hell of it. And even though there's a lid, he manages to scatter the litter everywhere, which is all part of the fun.

Snooks1971 · 03/01/2018 21:47

Hunting the end of a very long shoe lace. We imagine that she thinks it's the long tail of a very large mouse (mouse body is so huge it's out of sight).

DrMadelineMaxwell · 03/01/2018 21:47

Generally just titting about together. Usually at night.

Archfarchnad · 03/01/2018 23:01

Ankle tag. Generally my ankle.

Toddlerteaplease · 03/01/2018 23:17

Fatty and Snorg don't play any games. And don't really know how to play with toys. Sad

Thehogfather · 03/01/2018 23:17

The none playful one enjoys a nice game of 'find the gift'. This mornings instalment featured a rat head in the centre of the kitchen floor for round one, and a (dead) mouse for round two. Placed in my cup with the coffee when I'd left the kettle to boil.

Other plays all the time, hide & pounce is a favourite. And a variation on the porch roof, except she has to jump to the top of the open door. And then to the outside windowsill, where she sits next to the open door and taps and cries pitifully to be let in.

Weedsnseeds1 · 04/01/2018 09:21

Mine loves a feather.
I had 8 mallards to pluck before Christmas and he was in his element, jumping in the bin bag and scattering feathers everywhere while I plucked.
I'm still finding them now.

Papergirl1968 · 04/01/2018 09:25

That was your breakfast, Hog.
Hope you were suitable appreciative Grin

LizB62A · 04/01/2018 09:45

Google "cat string video" and see if your cats love it as much as mine Smile
They just up in front of the screen and try and catch the string

WorraLiberty · 04/01/2018 09:46

'Wind the puppy up' seems to be his game of choice at the moment Hmm Grin

Olinguito · 04/01/2018 13:14

"Helping" to change the bedding - attacking the new duvet cover and rolling around in ecstacy on the clean sheets, leaving a nice fine covering of fur on everything.

I was delighted paper who wouldn't be Grin

Worst thing is she's so sweet and loving I haven't got the heart to even look anything but delighted, let alone express distaste.
