Chicken liver

Have a pot of chicken livers. None of us humans like them. Can I feed them to my cats? They came frozen and are now defrosting.

Thanks!

Yes, my mother fed them once a week to ours. Current cat hates them.

I'm sure you can only give them a certain amount of liver. Google it.

You will be loved.
There may be a bit of ... effluent, if you give them the whole tub.

I'm planning to offer her one to start. She's a really fussy cat and I'm hoping it'll stimulate her appetite.

A little liver now and then won’t hurt, but they are high in vitamin A and too much can cause toxicity. Hope your cats enjoy their treat!

I've not been brave enough to try yet. Will try her with it tomorrow.
