Peeing on my bed.

I have a 2yo cat and an 8mo cat who I've had since he was 6 weeks (mother abandoned him). 8mo can sleep on my bed fine but every now and then he pees on it!

DD was under my quilt then talking and he came, jumped up and peed.

Any advice? He was neutered last week.

He might have a urine infection, if ours gets one he wees in front of us.

Thank you for replying. He's done it about once a month since he was tiny so I don't think it's that.

One of my cats started doing this when she was about 7 months old. She used to do it to make me get up as she knew she would then be fed soon afterwards. In the end I had to shut her out of the bedroom for a few weeks, then it didn't happen again. Before that I had tried putting a litter tray by the bed so I could immediately put her in it if she did it - massively regretted that when I was woken by the noisiest and smelliest bowel movement you've ever known. So wouldn't advise that ;)

Haha he does the stinkiest poos ever! Wanting to be fed might be an idea...
