How do I tackle this?

Hey guys.

These two kittens of mine are eating monsters.
I was told over and over that they would start to grow out of their greedy stage, but they're just not.

They're now 6 months old and will follow me in to the kitchen every single time I go in and will walk around me until I leave. One will jump on the side to try and grab anything I'm making or not making! Haha. They both act like they're being starved but they eat so much. If I eat, they will try to grab it. How can I deal with this? Surely there's a way?
Thanks.

Sorry to break it to you but mine has always had an..um...healthy...appetite from when we had him at 12 weeks. He is now nearly four and eats like the proverbial horse!

We have to put one of ours in a cat box while we, or the other cats eat, as she just charges at anything vaguely food related. She knicked a jacket potato from my husband’s plate when she was only a few months old

I put it down to the fact that she and her brother were found in a bin, only a few hours old, still with their umbilical cords attached. I bottle fed them, unfortunately he died after 5 days, but I think there’s something deep inside her that remembers the awful start she had Sad

Our kitten used to launch herself at the kitchen side and start shoving her head in the dish before we had finished dishing the food out. Or she'd climb up the back of our legs to get to it, which hurt like hell. We put her on a strict training programme- no food until she was sitting with her bottom on the floor. It took 3-4 weeks, but she got it, and she's good as gold now.

Costa that's funny about the jacket potato and just...sad about their start.

It reminded me of that cat Lola who was stuffed into a bin (huge news case).

At least she's happy and looked after now (albeit greedy!)
