Did the SAD lamp work for your kittie?

I cant find the thread about the SAD lamp.

My girl's been very mopey these last few days and has spent most of her time in bed. The weather's pretty grim where I am, so she might need a SAD lamp?

Ooh, 8 didn't see a hrad about a sad lamp for cats.
Can cats absorb UV through thick black fur?

Since the start of the month my outdoor boy is out very little. Compared to the whole night out adventures of the summer. He's eating fine but sleeping lots. He's still going out but just a lot less. We just put it down to him adapting to the change in daylight hours etc. I feel like sleeping lots too. Could it be anything else?

GetYourRocksOff that's reassuring to hear. I think she's fine healthwise. She's eating (including treats), going to toilet, hollering at me for rubs. She popped out a few times this evening and even brought me a little pressie of a bat - poor creature. I caught it in time, set it free and explained to her that bats are a protected species. Fell on deaf ears, I'm sure. She seems to go from extremes. Sometimes she disappears for hours and I worry where she is and then she does this thing of staying in bed all day. I'll keep an eye on her and see how she is.
