Any ideas to explain this behaviour?

Had my lovely crazy cat for 10 years. She has always been a bit temperamental and has a certain attitude.

Anyway when I came in from work tonight she was hissing and growling at me and was acting very strangely. I ended up taking her to out of hours vet who said she seemed fine but may have been in a car fight and was stressed.

She seems calmer now but is still making occasional growling noises. And is now cuddling in bed.

Anyone experience any similar behaviour?

We have never had to take her to the vet before apart from her annual booster check up

Cat fight not car fight Smile

Wildlife outside?
New cat (if you have a cat flap could one have got in?)
Maybe a cat fight
Possibly a dog chased her?
Is she 10 or older? Clean bill of health?

My kitten randomly hissed at me the other morning when I came downstairs. I have no idea why. She has been ok since. I’m keeping an eye out for stress triggers.

I hope your one settles down soon.

Took her to my normal vet and she has a puncture wound under her front leg that is infected so she is on antibiotics and anti inflammatories
