New cat Is lovely but in the three weeks we have had her we have had two massive sick/furball incidents

Our last boy only ever gave us a pile of sick once so a bit worried we should be worried

Is once every week/two weeks too much
DH thinks she is getting a winter coat which would explain it

How long did you have your last cat? Only ever getting one sick incident seems so little it's odd.

How old is the new one? Is she going outside yet? Grass can make them sick.

If she's a kitten and getting vet checkups/jabs/neutered etc you could mention it to them. It wouldn't particularly worry me in itself though. 2 close together could just be coincidence.

Hi, Give her a good brush every day as well. When I got my cat who's longhaired hed throw one up about once a week.Since I've given him a good brush everyday hes been fine.
You can also get anti fullball cat biscuits from places like Pets at Home.

We had our last cat for nearly a year - he went missing over a month ago.

New cat Is tiny but CP have said she is near 2.. she isn't going outside.. I know she will need to to but I'm so scared of losing her that I'm terrified of it.

DH has always had cats and thinks it's normal
I think i just worry a lot

You could take her out on a harness I've got a Mynwood cat harness and an extender lead. I lost 2 cats previously, they just vanished. My cat likes his harness and its not been a problem.
Sorry to hear about your cat going missing, I know how upsetting this is.Hopefully he will return.

Mine are indoor only, and though short haired when they shed boy do they shed! Springtime & summer the house is filled with drifts of very pale grey fluff. However despite my Boycat throwing up on average about every 5-6 days (he's got a tendency to bolt food), I've only found one hairball. I put this down to using Indoor Cat and Anti-Hairball kibble from Royal Canin.

The slightly amusing thing is when I clear poo out of the litter tray, the bits are stuck together by the hairs they have passed - looks like a string of sausages! Grin
