Where is the rest of the mouse?

If you were small annoying black cat where would you hide the top half of a mouse?

DH came downstairs this morning to find the rear half of a mouse on the living room carpet. Gcat,(pic attached) who usually comes upstairs to announce the arrival of a new gift, was nowhere to be seen, and was silent on the subject when questioned

Eaten. Mine has a tendancy to eat the middle, leaving a skin with paws and head attached Sad

In the cat.
When I had two, one preferred the front end, the other, the back end.
Now the remaining cat is older I don't get any leftovers. Smile

I opened the door to find the the back end of a rat plus tail the other morning - while I was looking around for the front bit, dcat appeared and vomited it up on the step - just gross at 6am.

It has definitely been eaten. I have 2 cats; one is a mighty hunter who brings something in most nights.I have have had to put a small machine washable rug outside my bedroom door for him to dine on as he always brings his snack to the same spot and it's easier to wash that than scrub the carpet. We call it the mouse mat and always have to remember to take a GIANT step when stumbling out to the loo in the night. I've lost track of the number of times I've had to sluice mouse guts from between my toes!
