I had a thread recently about a new tom in the neighbourhood that has beaten my cat up a few times once resulting in a visit to the vet.
He’s begun going out again and doesn’t appear timid though I do keep an eye out for him charging towards the catflap just in case bastard cat is hot on his tail.
For the last few days he’s suddenly become quite clingy towards myself and dh, he’s normally pretty aloof but he’ll just come and sit in front of you and continuously stare at you, or try and sleep on my pillow at night. Tonight he tried getting in my bath and kept patting my arm.
He’s eating well, more than usual in fact. He’s wormed, flea treated (no fleas) and I don’t think he’s in pain so I have no idea what he wants. We both give him lots of love when he chooses to be affectionate.
Wondered if maybe he’s feeling a little insecure due to recent events? I have some feliway arriving tomorrow just in case he’s a little stressed.
