I have a two year old BSH neutered male (and two other cats). The cat in question is very very nervous. He was ill in the cattery so can no longer go, the vet just managed his booster then said his heart was racing so fast he didn't want to weigh him etc. At home he gets on with the other two , will sometimes sit on my lap but hates strangers and bolts at any loud noises. All my cats are indoor cats.
The problem is that, over the last few days, I have felt scaly scabby patches under his chin and neck. He is quite happy for me to pet him there. If I part the skin to look the patches are flesh coloured with no pink/red bits. He has none elsewhere on his body. He has regular flea treatments and has no signs of fleas nor do the other two neither of whom have any similar patches. Any ideas please?
