Ringworm

DD has ringworm of the scalp. Being treated.

She and cat are pretty inseparable. I have been through every inch of the cats fur for signs and can't see anything. Would it be worth having him checked over by Vet or is it usually obvious if they have it. No scratching.

Thank you x

It's usually obvious. Little, normally round, bald patches appear - usually on the ears/head but potentially anywhere. Can be confirmed by taking a pluck of hair next to the bald patch for analysis - and a rudimentary diagnosis can be made with a uv light.

Thank you. Won't stress him out then.
