Kitten advice

Picked up a kitten 2 weeks ago. Approx 10 / 12 weeks.
Gorgeous wee girl. She spend 2/ 3 days hiding but eating / using litter tray when we were not looking!!
Last night she had diarreoah in her litter tray, and again this morning.
She seems fine, chasing balls, pouncing on feather toys etc.
I've not registered her at the vet yet. She was wormed and flead at the rescue centre.
Should i be worried?

what food is she having? I would worry about dehydration if the diarrhoea persists. When one of mine was a bit loose I got a paste from the vet that helped. Also check if the food is grain free as some cats can be sensitive to grains

And get her registered as they need worming/ flea treated regularly. I know mine were wormed every 2 weeks to begin with

She has both dry ( go cat kitten ) and felix pouches. She has water bowl too.
Plan on registering her asap but don't have the car today.

At least it all went in the little tray!

Make sure you keep an eye on how much she is drinking to avoid dehydration.

This happened to mine and the vet said it was likely to be introducing new foods. He suggested minced chicken for a day then gradually re-introduce Whiskas kitten and then move onto aduly food at 6 months. He said not to mix dry and wet food and if the loose poo did not stop in 24 hrs to take her back because she might need an antibiotic injection. It stopped and she loved the chicken😺

Thanks.. will just give her the felix pouches as that was what she had at the centre ( they gave me a few home with us ) and get her to the vet tomorrow.
And yes, was very impressed she contained it to the litter tray!
I also wondered if it might be that she is a minx for getting onto kitchen counters ( i lift her down when i catch her ) but i use detox and flash on those surfaces and could she be licking her paws etc?
I know two episodes of diarrhoea is not a huge health crisis....

I don't think go-cat is a very good food as it contains cereals and not a lot of meat. I think a grain free high meat dry food would maybe suit better. Check Felix for cereals too

What food would you recommend?

I gave my cats royal canine kitten dry food, which they loved. I give them the adult version now.

I used AVA kitten dry food from pets at home. Had 66% chicken and was grain free. They have the adult stuff now
