14years and 5months bar one day. We've had her and her sister since they were kittens and have even emigrated them with us. we've been through breech birth, cancer scares, mammory strips, mouse allergies and she even sat with me through contractions. A year ago she was given a clean bill of health so she come come abroad with us, however months after arriving, she was wheezing, snotty and diagnosed with chest infection plus asthma. Only the steroids for the asthma interfered with her pancreas and she became diabetic. 2 vet hospital stays, 2 seizures, 3 crashes - we couldn't let our girl go through it all again. I'm heartbroken and quite simply at a loss. She was my cat. I love her to pieces and feel I've let her down.

You loved her. There wasn't any more you could do than love her and she would have known that. I'm so sorry for your loss Flowers

You have done absolutely the opposite of letting her down. You saw her through multiple issues. You have loved and cherished her for over 14 years. Then when you couldn't make her better you made the bloody heartbreaking decision to let her go. That's the very definition of a fantastic owner.
I am so sorry for your loss. It's hard. Flowers

It is a very sad time for you. We all know what you're feeling and it is very hard to bear. You have done your very best and she had a good life. So, so sorry for your loss.

So sorry, it is always hard to let them go but she must have had a long and lovely life with you
