How often do you feed your kitten?

My kitten is 7 months and fed 3 times a day (wet food). We also leave out kitten biscuits for during the day. Everything I have read suggests that she should be on two meals per day now. However when I asked the vet she said cats are grazers and that the biscuits are more important because they help with dental care and because they are dry it will encourage her to drink more water. She said that wet food should be given once a day and is more of a treat.
I'm just wondering what others give their kittens/cats and how you whittled the meals down. Thanks.

I give half a pouch each 3 times a day and leave dry out all the time. When we were away on holiday they got fed 1 pouch each twice a day by the catsitter with dry left out. Mine are 10 months (just)

Different people give different advice. I think wet is important due to the moisture especially if your cat doesn't drink much. Even more important for males from what I have read. I do give dry too

Mine is 7 months and gets half a tray of wet food 4 times a day- at 7am, mid-day, 6pm and 8pm. We started splitting the meals in two because she was bolting most of it and then leaving a tiny bit, so we thought it might be good to try and make her pace herself a bit. She also has a small portion of biscuits, delivered via one of those Fitcat balls- more to keep her busy and entertained than anything else.
Oh, and several treats a day because we use them as rewards for scratching her post, or going in and out when we want her to. She knows this. She complies politely when she fancies a treat.

Mine had biscuits out at all times and wet food whenever they wanted it. This is what I've always done with my cats and none of them have ever been overweight. Maybe I'm just lucky with that, but I've always been lead to believe that cats are able to moderate their food intake (unlike dogs).

*led to believe

Mine is 4 months and currently fed 3x a day (morning & after school she gets 1/4 can of wet food, evening she gets some dry food) but she often doesn't eat in the day.
