Is Advantage any good?

DCat normally has Advocate for her flea treatment but I'm trying to find one which we can buy online (without a prescription) rather than go to the vet.
How effective is Advantage? I can't find any recent information.

Yes, it's the only one that you don't have to get from a vet that works.

I use it if mine are having separate worming tablets. I believe it's the same as advocate, but without the wormer.

Yes, had no fleas this summer using this. My cats, that is, not me personally.
