Sorry but need a handhold with some cat mad people. We used to have 3 cats then just one old tabby boy. He developed a lump on his shoulder that we thought would outlive him. But it kept growing until the only option was to remove his leg, but in a 17 year old cat with kidney disease it would have been too much for him. We thought we would get longer but the tumour was growing huge and burst this morning. Took him to the vets tonight.
He had lost half his body weight as well, it was totally the right thing to do and I stayed with him, the house seems so empty now. I can't sleep and I'm downstairs and usually he would be over demanding attention. The worst but was watching the children say goodbye to him,meh was older than all of them, they are heartbroken. Going to miss him so much
