Our little cat keeps disappearing. She is 2 years old and neutered. since this summer has lead a normal life. Coming in and out when she wants. Occasiinally staying out at night but usually back in the morning. She is a loving litte girl. Anyway in July she went missing for a week. Looked everwhere for her. Then she jyst reappeared. In August she went missing again, this time 3 weeks. Almist given up hope then again she just reappeared like nothing had happened. a bit hungry but not starving and very loving to us. So today she came back after being missing for a week. Same as before just srrived, stuffed her face and took to the sofa. We have no idea where she goes, neighbours do not see her. Any ideas what to do

Round the corner, next street etc . She obviously has a 2nd crash pad. If you kept her in a week or two maybe that would help, likewise getting her favourite treats in to make your house is the bees knees ! Or a note somehow attached to her collar asking if she turns up to contact you.

yes we think she may have second home. each time she comes back we keep her in for a few days a make a fuss of her. she seems happy and only pops out for a bit and comes back in an hour or two. We tried her with a collar with one of the tags they do in pets at home that you register with them but she lost it after 3 days. One thing is we dont have a cat flap. never had one and cats all our lives. but there is someone home a lot of the time to let cats in and out. we have another cat but they get on ok. the other one only goes 10ft from the door and back.
