getting kittens - it's been a while

Hello. Looking for general hints and tips on looking after kittens. For all my adult life I've had older cats; inherited family cat when parents moved abroad and then got cats from the shelter I volunteered at before DS. Our old girl had to PTS last week due to heart failure, so we've decided that we will start from new (so to speak) and get two kittens - looking at some Maine Coon crosses tomorrow (v excited).

Trouble is, aside from sorting out the kittens in the rescue who were a jumble of claws and fluff in a cage, I have not had a kitten in the home since I was a teenager! I can work from home whilst they're small so I'm in hand for frequent feeds, but otherwise a bit clueless on settling them in, etc. Any must dos for kittens that I will have forgotten about after having independent, clean and sleepy moggys for so long?
