Natures Menu from Amazon [hmm]

RubbishMantra · 30/08/2017 20:45

Remember the post a few weeks ago about the pack of 48 sachets of Natures Menu going for less than £9? Somebody with the username nightwatch or similar made the Op.

Did anyone else order, and did you receive it? Because I didn't, and the seller has studiously ignored all emails I've sent. Was supposed to be here by 24th. Hmm

Nobody else seems to have received it. I've been promised a refund but the same seller offered DP a refund for some cat litter last week and the money hasn't materialised.

SoftKittySillyKitty · 30/08/2017 20:58

Definitely complain to Amazon. I haven't received mine either and have logged a complaint, apparently will receive a refund in 7 days.

PinkSparklyPussyCat · 30/08/2017 20:59

I've been promised a refund but that was only yesterday. Even so I'm not holding my breath.

PinkSparklyPussyCat · 30/08/2017 21:00

I should have said it was the seller who replied to my email and promised the refund.

RatOnnaStick · 30/08/2017 21:01

I was promised a refund too. Nothing so far...

SoftKittySillyKitty · 30/08/2017 21:04

I phoned Customer Service at Amazon. They were really helpful.

RubbishMantra · 30/08/2017 21:08

Oh dear. First time I've been scammed on Amazon. Their shop, Buyallmeans doesnt seem to be showing in searches either, so I can't leave them a shitty review.

How did Amazon help SoftKitty? They just told me there was nothing they could do apart from ask seller to send goods or refund. Which I'd already done.

I kicked up a massive stink Rubbish. Told them it was unacceptable that after 15 years a loyal customer of Amazon and Amazon Prime that Amazon wouldn't refund a product that clearly was a scam.

I suspect that "Buyallmeans" had maybe a few batches they wanted to get rid of but not actually stock. But continued to advertise and take money from orders.

Disgraceful. I would ring and speak to someone rather than email.

PinkSparklyPussyCat · 30/08/2017 21:23

I'll give it a few days to see if the refund goes through and then I'll contact Amazon directly and take it up with them.

DoorbellsSleighbellsSchnitzel · 30/08/2017 21:23

Arrgh! I ordered this and haven't received it yet either. Had vaguely forgotten about it as we've been away this week. Bugger. I wondered if it would be too good to be true. Will have to get on to Amazon in the morning.

RubbishMantra · 30/08/2017 21:40

Ta for the complaints link. I guess I should've phoned them, easier to abdicate responsibily by email...

I am sure that I have seen buyallmeans on Ebay (selling litter trays) but have just searched the name and the UK one is not coming up. I don't suppose that is any help but perhaps they have gone bust.

AllToadsLeadToHome · 31/08/2017 01:30

OK, I have found them on Ebay, name changed, so perhaps they are in trouble. Now trading as petsnhome and have only just changed their name. Their business info is still on Google as Buyallmeans.

User ID Effective Date End Date
petsnhome 16-Aug-17 Present
buyallmeans_uk 15-May-11 16-Aug-17
finchytelford 14-Apr-11 15-May-11
buyallmeans_shop 13-Mar-11 14-Apr-11
phonesimcard 18-Sep-10 13-Mar-11

I realise this doesn't sort out the Amazon situation but it does look as if something has gone wrong and maybe Amazon need to be aware.

RubbishMantra · 31/08/2017 01:54

Nice detective work Toads!
Good news, Amazon are going to refund after I complained again, and said Buyallmeans had done the same to several other Amazon customers, so should do the same for everyone else?

OP posts:
RatOnnaStick · 31/08/2017 13:38

I had an email from Amazon just after midnight saying they going to refund me, thanks to you lot I suppose?

RubbishMantra · 31/08/2017 15:50

Yay, refunds for all! They apparently to have been trading in a similar crap fishing for the last 6 months or so. But it's never occurred to me to google a company trading through Amazon. They've got some shockingly bad reviews online.

OP posts:
PinkSparklyPussyCat · 31/08/2017 20:31

Im glad everyone is getting refunds. I'll wait until next week and then contact them direct.

AllToadsLeadToHome · 31/08/2017 20:48

I never bought from them although they had what I wanted to buy at a good price because the description and details were very lacking and they didn't look very professional. I did have them saved on my Ebay sellers page which is how I found them so easily, however if I want to find someone there is not much that will stop me Grin.

No wonder they changed their ID on Ebay though. I hope you all get your refunds OK.

thereinmadnesslies · 31/08/2017 20:58

Grrr I ordered this too. I've emailed the seller, will give it 2 days then file a claim with Amazon. So annoying.

PinkSparklyPussyCat · 04/09/2017 14:52

I've just contact Amazon as there was no sign of my refund. They are refunding me and confirmed they are investigating the seller as there have been so many reports of people not receiving goods
