What to feed two 5 year old cats

Two lovely cats - they have access to outdoors but spend most of their day lounging about being cats. Currently have Go Cat biscuits in the morning and supermarket own canned food in the evening.

Now I have a little more money available, I was thinking of changing their diet, perhaps to one of those foods that you give less in quanity but more in quality. Haven't a clue which to choose - can you advise?

I'd get rid of the go cat and swap for some better dry food first. James wellbeloved is not much more expensive, or applaws is a bit more expensive but very good quality. There's loads of options.

AVA dry cat food from pets at home has a good meat content and is grain free

I would get rid of the GoCat first - it's awful for cats and full of grains and fillers. Any grain-free dry food should be fine - mine are on Applaws which I get in bulk from ZooPlus although pets at home sell it in smaller quantities as well.

James Wellbeloved, Royal Canin and Nature's Menu are all good options too.

Thanks all - the Go Cat has gone.

Don't change it over all at once as you're supposed to phase new foods in gradually so it doesn't upset their tummy.
