Which breed of cat?

Looking for a new kitten to join our family.

We also have a 1yr old Ragdoll and young DC.

Will any breed of cat fit with a Ragdoll? I'm looking maybe a British Shorthaired?

Your lovely BSH looks very similar to my old (sadly departed) one-eyed grey tabby moggy. He was a cat who would spend every evening sleeping on my stomach with his front legs round my neck.

OP I'm another one to recommend a mog. Yes their characters vary and are perhaps less predictable than some of the purebreeds, but isn't that part of the pleasure of owning cats?

My BSH girl was very calm and did like to be near us, but she would let us know when she'd had enough of being stroked! She always jumped onto my mum to be groomed, but wasn't a lap cat. Sounds like a cat like this would go well with a Ragdoll.

My current cat is a Burmese boy. He's gorgeous and a wonderfully affectionate lap cat, but can be very demanding and manic, so possibly not the best fit for a Ragdoll!
