How much should it cost to have teeth removed ?

We have tried everything for the last year antibiotics, Metacam, plaque off, tooth paste but she is still drooling and gums all inflamed. Vet has quoted £500 to have them all out except the canines. It seems a lot to me, anyone else had this done?

That sounds about right for a private vet for a full extraction. Ask around though. Vets pricing seems to vary enormously. If you have a Pets at Home with a vets in it near you they often tend to be more reasonable. It's worth doing though. It's the only way to sort out her pain.

My cat had a lot of back teeth out recently and it cost about £500. She was old so needed to be on a drip as well as the anaesthetic, which bumped the cost up. Worth it though, she's doing great now.
