My poor cat

My cat has been poorly since last week. She had an upset stomach and was refusing food. She's now not drinking anything and has spent the day on a drip at the vets and is going back tomorrow. The vets don't know what's going on with her. She's had a steroid injection and something to make her hungry but nothing seems to be working. We are worried sick and I feel so sorry for her.

Oh it's horrible seeing them like that. The appetite stimulants can take a little time to kick in, have you tried warming some food up a little? The smellier the better for them.
I guess the vets have done tests etc? Paws crossed she's better soon.

Have a hand hold, I know how awful it it seeing them poorly.

Thank you everyone. Haven't tried warming anything up. She's managed a little bit of cheese and also drank a good amount of water. They need a Urine sample which is proving hard to get. ( She's had to be isolated to another room as we have another cat and obviously we don't want to be getting the samples mixed up)

They have done blood tests and should get a few results tomorrow. She is an indoor cat otherwise they'd be testing for aids or leukaemia apparently.

She's going back into the vets again tomorrow to be given more fluids so hopefully they should know more then.
