I had to have my old girl put down early hours of this morning. She had a huge fit and was unresponsive. She was 20 years old, I am so gutted.

I couldn't even be there as had to stay at home with the baby who was asleep.
I am devastated SadSad

I'm so sorry, it's terrible losing a most loved family member, thinking of you Flowers and hugs.

Oh love I am so sorry

We had 22 yr old pusscat pts a couple of months ago and it hurt then and hurts still.

Coincidentally my thread had the same title as yours.... it just illustrates the feeling of grief doesn't it?

Much love xxxx

I am sorry to read thisOP. She was a lucky cat to have a wonderful family for 20 years,, and you must have looked after her so well for all those years.

Very sorry for your loss. I hope you'll be ok. She will always be with you Flowers

It's so heartbreaking when you have had them half your life. My old girl was 20 too, but she just wore out and I had to do the same as you.

Vinorosso74 · 23/08/2017 18:56

I'm very sorry, they do leave such a void. Look after yourself Flowers

Dolceandgabbana14 · 24/08/2017 13:00

I'm so sorry Flowers

Both of my cats had to be pts following massive fits, eighteen months apart. We were told it's relatively unusual for cats to fit. Very scary.
