Oh is it black cat day today? I don't know why I thought it was later in the year. Anyway here is my big fat ball of evilness with DS1s trains balanced on her. She'll be 6 in a few weeks.

oh! this is Jack. we brought him home from the RSPCA shelter today. 6 months old and very handsome...we have 3 other cats so a very slow introduction needed but he's so HAPPY! and so are we.

My first boy was all black - when I got crazycat I wondered if I was the only person to go to the RSPCA looking for a black cat and coming home with a tortie!!

Aw I love these black cats they're all so beautiful my first boy was black he looked chocolate-y striped black in certain lights and had double fluff.

I used to call him my panther, of course he was very clumsy, quite grumpy and not at all sleek & panther like at all

House Panfaaaaaaaa!!!

Eliza yes they are, though technically she isn't black but charcoal tabby. She's smart & reasonably confident, he's thick as shit, clumsy & terrified of everything except her and (after 14 months here) me. Doesn't look like it in the picture, but he's significantly bigger than her (guessing about 1/3 heavier) and they have different shaped faces.

It's Black Cat Day everyday here. Here's my gorgeous boy.

She came into my life late one Saturday evening with a horrific tail injury and five 3 week old kittens.
A very special girl who took a little while to learn to trust other humans apart from myself and DD. She has very good taste and adores my DP.

This is Coco. I was worried about taking him as a stray but he's turned out to be an excellent character.

What beautiful black cats everyone has. This lovely girl turned up as a stray near me about 18 months ago, and despite advertising her we couldn't find her owners. She wasn't microchipped either. She is now a much loved pet who divides her time between my house and next door. She is a feisty girl who puts my ginger boy in his place.
