Growling!

You're all going to be sick of me soon. Grin I do apologise. I am a new pet owner and have the 2 most beautiful kitties. I'm obsessed with them. GrinSmile

Anyway. They're both 8 weeks old, playful, happy, play fight a lot with each other however, the male kitty is a growler. He growls at his sister if she goes near their toys, (that they both share) their food, etc.

They was sharing a joint double food bowl until today as I decided to keep their food separate. I'm hoping this will help. I'm not sure how to approach the toys though. I can't just tell them to share or even split their toys up.
How do I stop him being so possessive?

Any tips?

My phone doesn't appear to like paragraphs. It removes them when I hit send. 🤔🤔🤔

Food bowls well apart (in separate rooms if needs be), and more toys.

Cats are basically solitary creatures, so if you think of them as needing their own space, that should help. There are some cats who will easily accept sharing, but many cats who won't . Feed them in separate areas, provide more toys and don't expect them to be close.

You have to reduce any opportunity for competition. Cats live more happily together when they don't have to compete for resources.

At least 2 litter trays preferably 3
Feed them in separate rooms
Loads more toys
