cat missing 😩

We just got home from holiday, had a cat sitter looking after our two cats. One of them is nowhere to be seen. 😔
We've been home for hours, have wandered round the roads calling her but no sign.
Cat sitter says she was at home yesterday but didn't see her this morning.
She isn't one to stray away for long, she usually follows me all around the house. We haven't used a cat sitter before, always a cattery. I'm so worried that she has disappeared, it's very unusual for her and our other cat is wandering round forlornly too.

It's an awful time when they take themselves off. Hopefully, she'll be home soon. I fed my friend's 2 cats recently, twice a day, while she was on holiday and during that time there were a few days when I didn't see either one of them. I was very worried. Even when friend returned, one of the monsters went on the missing list for a day. She's probably gone off in protest of your holiday.

Lost one of mine for 3 days after coming back from holidays. Went to every house around with pictures of him. Spoke to everyone. In case he had got into a shed or garage and been locked in. Then I spotted him in a garden behind some huge gates he was having none of it. I watched 2 days later him jumping over the garden fence. His brothers had brought hm home

She came home this evening! We did a fair bit of trekking round the lanes shouting for her. Since she got home, they've both been snuggled up on my lap (she never normally sits on people) so I think we've had our punishment, and now we're forgiven. 😀

Ah, that's so good to hear. She missed you. I believe that they do miss us and their little routine.
