GoPro on a cat??

Has anyone ever put a GoPro on their cat to see what they get up to? DH thinks I'm nuts but I think it would be really interesting. Big Cakecatbwas out all night last night (I definitely did didn't freak out several times in the night) and I want to know what he was doing. Has anyone done it?

Aren't they rather big and clunky to fit round a cat's neck?

My cats don't even wear a collar so I wouldn't. Too much of a risk it would get caught up. Collar injuries can be really bad.

Watch the Horizon episode called Secret Life of Cats - they put cameras on some of them. Was good fun especially when one of them vommed across the screen

Secret Life of Cats wasn't that the show where they filmed cats going into other people's (cats') houses and then called the owners in for 'the big reveal' on tape, filming them cringing in embarrassment?

That sounds about right - they renamed the village hall Cat HQ and generally took it very far too seriously. Loved it!

That's a fantastic idea. It looks like you can get a special cat sized harness for it. I think it's inspired!
