When can new rescue cat go out?

I was just wondering if anyone had any idea, as I meant to ask the vet. This is our 3rd cat, but not sure when it's ok to let her out, as she (an adult, was a stray so no idea if she was vaccinated) has been with us for 2 weeks. She had her 2nd set of injections today - had the 1st set 3 weeks ago with her foster owner.
After our last cat had his 2nd set of injections we were told to wait two more weeks. Is this still the case?

Oh I've just been through this! I was told 4-6 weeks to get their home established - she pottered under supervision in the garden until then as she was desperate!!

Thanks, InglouriousBasterd. I guess as they said last time 2 weeks after his injections before we should let him out, then we should do the same for this cat, to be sure of her having immunity. it will still only be 4 weeks into having her. She is really getting a bit keen to go out but is enjoying sitting by my mesh covered open living room window and growling at next door's cat from her vantage point in the upstairs window. Soon, my kitty, soon! Grin

we waited 4 weeks.

We waited 4 weeks by which time they were very ready to explore! Let her out hungry and give treats when she comes back in!
