My cats like to grab a mouthful of food, move away from the bowl a little, put it on the floor and eat it. Then they'll go back to the bowl, get another mouthful, move a little further away from the bowl than last time, and eat it.
By the time they finish the meal, the trail of crumbs and jelly smears could lead out of the kitchen, down the hall and into the sitting room.
I found a picnic site on the landing last week.
Should I be providing them with a blanket and picnic basket? Or maybe put the food in a tinfoil takeaway container in a paper bag?
