We are long term fosterers and have had many, many cats through our home. While we have loved them all we have owned cats in the past and quite enjoy the temporary nature of fostering.
DP was recently asked to cat sit for a new neighbour, and over the weekend I went with him to care for the cat. He is the most delightful, handsome smoky Persian with amber eyes. He took to me straight away and was affectionate without being all over me - it took everything in me not to bring him home
I am very rescue minded so I would never buy a kitten from a breeder, but it got me thinking about potentially adopting an adult Persian in the future. Does anyone have any insights into their personality? Are they known for being affectionate? This guy had a quirky little personality - is that typical?
