My gorgeous cat has been missing 2 weeks now. It's on our local fb so lots looking out for him. He will be 2 in August. Any advice? I miss him dearly

Oh no. I'm guessing you've done the leaflets and posters thing? That normally gets the best results. If you have, try spreading the net a bit wider, particularly with posters.

thecatneuterer · 10/07/2017 00:31

Is he chipped?

Mummytron · 10/07/2017 22:38

Yes to posters and yes he's chipped. Don't know what else to do

Oh, so sorry to hear this.I hope he comes home very soon.

troodiedoo · 10/07/2017 23:34

So sorry to hear this. Have you knocked on doors and done leaflets and posters? Keep calling him, put contents of hoover bag and his blanket in the garden. And food and water.

Sorry to put a downer on you even more but have you checked with your council environmental health?

Really hope he turns up for you soon.

Mummytron · 11/07/2017 19:49

Thanks for all your wishes and advice. I hope he does too

My curious read 'bloody pain up the arse but can be adorable' cat went missing for 5 weeks. We had finally given up hope when we got a phone call from the local rescue centre. She had been found over 20 miles away! We have no idea how she came to be so far away from home.

Don't give up hope, they can be very resourceful.

Take treats and walk around at night when it is quiet, shaking the treats and calling.
Stop and listen and wait rather than continue walking in case you hear a reply.
Look for empty houses, people on holiday, building sites.
Post on all the missing cat sites you can find.
And look in shrubbery, behind walls etc. just in case it is not good news. Uncovered water butt?
I hope you find him.
