I was supposed to get a kitten about 6 months ago and the breeder couldn't sell her to me because she didn't grow very well.

I arranged to get a lovely ragdoll from a breeder with very good reputation and I was going to pick him up yesterday but the breeder phoned to say he'd had a bad reaction to flea treatment and he needs to be looked at by the vet again on Monday :( I hope he'll be ok and doesn't have anything bad.

Someone up there is telling you to get a rescue rather than buying from a breeder

Yes I did wonder about that! But since I already have three cats most rescues won't let us have one.

Have you been on to the ragdoll club? They might be able to help out.

Well I think if I can't have this kitten for whatever reason the breeder will refund me or perhaps offer another kitten.

It's just a shame. I've tried to get one from a ragdoll rescue but they won't rehome them to people who have cats already.
