Cat with glaucoma

Hi all,
I am after some advice. I have seen a young cat on Facebook that looks in a bad way; very skinny, and timid. The owner is getting rid and I want to take the poor thing in. However it has gluacoma in one eye. Does anyone have experience of cats with this condition? What is it likely to need care wise? I want to be sure of what I am taking on.

Thanks

I think there are drops you can use but you may be looking at eye removal in the end ( one eyed cats do pretty well). Only thing is, as pre-existing condition you won't get insurance to cover it. It may also be a secondary condition to something else.

My Mum and Dad had a cat who had to have her eye removed, albeit for a different reason, and she did fine.
