Cats and the wind!

Not sure if this topic has been posted before but does anyone else's cat seem to have a personality transplant when it's windy?
Today my cat has spent the day stalking and ambushing plants- understandable I guess as they move a lot more when it's windy- but he has also been leaping around the garden chasing invisible 'prey' and constantly speeding into the house as if being chased by an unseen enemy then running back outside again ( there was absolutely nothing else in the garden with him). I'm not too concerned as he seems to be having a grand old time and it's amusing to watch!
I've seen him do this before when it's been a bit windy and was just wondering if this is a cat 'thing' or if mine is just a bit stupid 😻

My indoor cats seem to get a bit more frisky if it's windy outside, especially if I have the french door open with cat netting across it so you get the wind through there and the window. Here's a pic of my babies hinting they wouldn't run away if I let them out, honest!

Allergictoironing Fisky is exactly the word I was looking to for to describe it!
They look very similar to mine from the back!

Mine get quite freaked out by it. And don't stay out. Apparently research has shown that children behave worse during windy weather. Apparently teachers will agree with this.

The beauty I had as a teenager would deliberately run into the wind down the garden so it would blow her off course in what was obviously a pleasing manner.

Clalpolly- that image has really made me smile!

My old boy hates the wind. He doesn't go out now as he's very old and not in good form. My other cat loves the wind and runs round like a crazy bird.

Toddlerteaplease -he definitely behaves more like a stroppy teenager when it is windy.... much more 'meowy' if that's a word and constantly running up to my legs for reassurance before sprinting off outside again to beat up whichever plant looked at him the wrong way 🙀

Aha I bet yours isn't charcoal tabby though, like my Girlcat is (the one on the right). In the right light, you can see dark grey tabby stripes on her head, legs and tail - sooo pretty!

But I still adore my pure black Boycat just as much - he's actually a fair bit bigger than his sister but is a bit hunched up as he isn't very confident (and is thick as shit!).
