Moulting and not grooming herself

Daftcat is a short haired moggy (we love her a lot, she's just challenged in the intellect dept). She has gradually stopped grooming herself over the last year. She's 5 and seems in good health, all jabs up to date etc.

Her spring moult carried on into summer and she's leaving huge patches of fur everywhere. If you stroke her you get a handful of fur.

We are grooming her now, and she loves it. But still the moulting, when after getting another cat's worth of fur out of her, it keeps on coming. When we groom her she also had a lot of dandruff.

Is it worth a trip to the vet?

Is it possible she's still annoyed about moving house in January (she's been with us 4 years and was grooming herself every Sunday evening- blocking our view of the tv- until we moved). She has freedom to go out, but is often hissing at next door's cat so it's not the calm queendom she was used to in the old house. However, she's still a total lap cat and very loving, so I don't think she's too stressed.
