Is there any chance at all she could remain pregnant?

None whatsoever.
(was vet nurse). Because it's hard to know exactly where a cat is in its cycle, or because the owners realise cat has come on heat again, but simply can't have another litter, this was not unusual thing. Everything is removed.
No further possibility of pregnancy.
