Help me name my cat?

Feels strange calling him 'my cat'.

We found him stuck under a thorn bush matted and sore. He's been with us for 4 weeks now, no owner found and no ID tag/chip. We have searched everywhere for an owner.

Looks like he's here to stay

Any name suggestions?

I could see him with an old man's name like Ronnie or Bertie. He's really sweet and looks very settled in.

My girl's name is Ottilie x

I did think of suggesting George (Bush) but then thought it might not be ideal to associate his name with his sad, thorny spell .

Oh bless him! I think he is definitely your cat now! He is adorable by the way. I don't know if it helps but I've always named cats by calling various names at them and seeing which they answer to. I was going to suggest Henry but I'm not sure that fits with the names you like. Hope you find a name for him soon anyway.
