Update on cats stealing our clothes

I posted recently about our two cats stealing our clothes. We eventually decided that Girlcat was broody as it was Spring, and thought the rolled up socks were kittens!

She's obviously now decided it's Summer, as when I got home from work yesterday, I found her lying in the yard, sunbathing... Wearing DD's bikini! 😂

She apparently tried on several other bikinis before choosing this one, as I found a whole assortment of them in the garden Grin

Little tinker Grin

Brilliant. One of mine loves the smell of chlorine so steals swimming costumes, I regularly find her rolling around on top of them, she hasn't taken them outside yet though.

Maudlinmaud · 01/06/2017 10:53

Mine does the rolled up sock thing and carries them around in her mouth chirruping, she drops them into her water bowl. I think it's definitely a sign of wanting to care for babies but she is neutered.
I haven't seen her stealing clothes but she likes hair bobbles.

Oh my goodness! Ive had cats for over 40 years and I have never had one that steals clothes! That's hilarious. What a clever girl 😀

Oldraver · 01/06/2017 12:56

That's one weird cat...

Toddlerteaplease · 01/06/2017 13:20

That's hilarious!

sundaymorningbringsthedawnin · 01/06/2017 16:32

That is brilliant Grin

caoraich · 01/06/2017 16:34

That is absolutely hilarious.

Mine rub themselves all over the sweaty bits of my gym clothes just after I take them off, but I've always just assumed that's because my cats are perverts.

Want2beme · 01/06/2017 21:30

That's amazing. How entertaining!

Ski37 · 02/06/2017 00:19

Love it-and the fact that she has tried in many more before this!

TheMysteriousJackelope · 02/06/2017 00:23

That cat is like Slinky Malinky.

My father had a cat that used to creep into the neighbor's houses, climb into a partly opened drawer and chew holes in their clothes, usually socks. I don't think the neighbor's like it very much.

Our cat has adopted a Waitrose reusable shopping bag. If it is propped against the wall she sits and glares at it until it is lying on the floor for her to sleep on. If I try and take it away she chases it and tries to get back on it. I have also found her asleep with her head jammed into my Fit Flop.

ThouShallNotPass · 02/06/2017 00:28

Mine brings back socks, gloves, cuddly toys, kitchen roll, baby wipes and.... dog poop bags.

Lord knows where she's getting it all. It's not ours and it all looks dirty, old and discarded.

I think she's cleaning up the estate. Kitty eco warrior.

I did get a lovely stuffed pink toy heart on the doorstep Valentine's Day morning that said, "Special mum" on it.

Cats are weird.

TeardropExplodes · 03/06/2017 23:14

I caught Ozzy licking the inside of my flip flop earlier.

Vinorosso74 · 03/06/2017 23:44

And look at her modelling the bikini! So funny

bigtapdancingpimp · 04/06/2017 12:32

She looks very pleased with herself OP and the colours sooo go with her fur.

caoraich I too have a pervy cat who goes slightly mad for discarded sweaty gym clothes Confused If I sit down for a minute when I get home from the gym she'll also give me a purry Indian head massage.

Teardrop Ozzy should be on some sort of register ShockGrin

darksideofthemooncup · 10/06/2017 23:10

You should post that pic on Twitter @thecatreviewer

Oldraver · 11/06/2017 11:23

darksideofthemooncup · 11/06/2017 20:48

It was started by a friend of mine Oldraver. Brilliant innit! Grin
