Ivy cat has been missing for 48 hours. She wasn't though, she was under my daughters bed very poorly and I didn't realise.

She dragged herself down the stairs and collapsed. I never dreamt she'd be in the house as she's always out, and I feel so guilty.

We've rushed her to the vets and they've kept her in. She's on a drip and they don't know what's wrong at the moment.

She looked terrible, so thin and sad. She's only a year old and this is the second time in 7 weeks she's been really poorly. Last time it was bladder crystals.

Please send us positive thoughts as we're so worried. My 9 year old daughter is distraught ☹️

Thinking of you Flowers. My cat did this at age 1 and it was horrible just not knowing. Hoping they find out and it's something they can help with x

That's awful for you. How is she now?

Kokusai · 24/05/2017 21:20

Oh no :-(

Fluffycloudland77 · 24/05/2017 22:01

That's awful but you weren't to know she was there.

When can you ring?.

Toddlerteaplease · 24/05/2017 22:41

Fingers crossed. I had no idea my cat was so poorly until I came back from a 13 hour shift to find her lying in the same place she'd been all day and probably most of the night. At least she was at home and not actually missing. Sending positive vibes and healing purrs.

caffeinestream · 24/05/2017 22:45

How's Ivycat today? Thinking of you and especially your DD. Flowers

ilovewelshrarebit123 · 25/05/2017 15:57

Thanks for your kind words.

She's a little better, they think she has mastitis which they said is rare for a spayed cat.

She's still in a lot of pain and running a temp so they're keeping her in for another night. She's also leaking pus from her teat.

If she's no better tomorrow they may have to operate to try to get to the bottom of the lump and pus.

That's terrible, you'd never guess that in a spayed cat.

BeeFarseer · 25/05/2017 19:12

Oh, poor little thing. Sad

timtam23 · 25/05/2017 23:56
