Supplements

Does anyone give their cats a supplement? One of ours is always coming home with scab and scratches and I've noticed at times he limps. The vet has said it's due to his outdoor activities.

I'm looking for a natural supplement without preservatives or nasties.

I'm not quite sure what you're looking to supplement for. Quicker healing? How old is your cat? I'm assuming your cat is neutered etc?

I supplement but then I raw feed cats with medical issues and find that by making my own food for them I can tailor it to their needs.

Mine have salmon oil on their food. At first they liked it but now are not so keen. It's really helped keep their costs looking glossy and sorted dandruff on one of them.

I was thinking of glucosamine and perhaps something to keep his cost and skin healthy due to all the nicks he seems to get. Should you even give cats supplements or am I being a bit much?!
